Annual Plan 2025-26
This plan document gives importance to the sectors of agriculture, animal husbandry, infrastructure development, social welfare, education, and health.
Agricultural Sector: Major projects in this sector include the Comprehensive Coconut Development Project, subsidy for paddy cultivation, solar fencing, distribution of inter-crop kits, kitchen gardens, and Agro Pharmacy.
Animal Husbandry: This includes the distribution of cattle feed for milch cows, purchase of medicine for the veterinary hospital, backyard poultry farming, and distribution of buffalo calves.
Health and Social Welfare: Key activities ensuring social security include the purchase of medicine for kidney patients, purchase of medicine for the extremely poor, making houses habitable for the extremely poor, distribution of nutritional supplements, setting up of senior citizen clubs, provision of play equipment for Anganwadis, assistance for students facing physical and mental challenges, and self-employment schemes for women.
Infrastructure: Important projects include drinking water schemes in various places (e.g., Jal Jeevan Mission, Ambalappady Echikkalpad drinking water project), construction of side walls for the protection of canals, waste management activities, and the installation of CCTV in public places.
This Annual Plan aims for comprehensive development, benefiting all sections of the Grama Panchayat's population, by utilizing General Sector Fund, SCP (Special Component Plan) Fund, and other grants.
